LAHORE:A local court on Wednesday extended the physical remand of accused Rida by five more days in the Ichhra three-children murder case and directed investigators to submit a progress report at the next hearing.
The accused was produced before a judicial magistrate at Model Town court after completing her earlier physical remand.The investigation officer of the CCD requested an extension, stating that further investigation was required to recover the alleged weapon and complete forensic procedures, including a photogrammetric test.
Judicial Magistrate Arshad Hussain Sabzwari approved the request and granted five more days of physical remand, directing that the accused be produced again on May 4. The court also instructed the investigation team to present a detailed investigation report on the next date of hearing.
A case was registered at Ichhra Police Station regarding the killing of three children.
