South Investigation Police on Monday arrested a suspect involved in the theft of 104 cloth bundles worth Rs16 million.
According to the police, the arrested suspect, identified as Ejaz, allegedly carried out the theft along with accomplices who are currently absconding. The case was registered on April 21 at the Aram Bagh police station.
The police said the suspect had stolen 104 bundles of cloth belonging to a trader. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the incident. Further investigation was underway, and legal proceedings were being carried out against the accused.
