Rawalpindi: A tree plantation campaign was organised at Liaquat Bagh in collaboration with the Horticulture Agency of Rawalpindi (HAR) with officials and volunteers planting saplings and raising awareness about environmental protection.
Additional Managing Director, Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Fazail Mudassar, Director Horticulture Sheikh Tariq and other officials attended the ceremony. Participants, including representatives of both organisations, took part in the plantation drive by planting various types of saplings.
Addressing the event, Mudassar said the HAR had launched a tree plantation campaign across the city and appreciated the participation of the Public Service Department. -
