The Wall of Peace and Sufism was inaugurated at the Sindh Bar Council (SBC), marking the beginning of a new tradition aimed at promoting peace, tolerance and Sufi values.
Sindh Home and Law Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar said on the occasion that the land of Sindh is enriched with the teachings of Sufi saints, where love, brotherhood and harmony have always been given priority.
Lanjar noted that Sufism fosters tolerance, unity and humanity in society, and these values form the foundation of sustainable peace. He said the Wall of Peace and Sufism is not merely a symbolic initiative but a practical effort to spread a message of positivity and harmony in society.
He also said that this initiative marks the beginning of a meaningful and inspiring tradition within the SBC, which would serve as a source of guidance for future generations. The ceremony was attended by legal leaders, including Qurban Malano, Ayaz Tanio, SBC Vice Chairman Ishtiaq Memon, Asif Soomro and other members of the legal fraternity, who appreciated the initiative.
