Islamabad:The Embassy of the Republic of Korea has announced that the ‘2026 K-Wave Festa’ will be held at the Serena Hotels here as scheduled on May 2, reaffirming plans for a large-scale public celebration of Korean culture.
According to the embassy, the event will take place from 3pm to 8pm at the SBC Lawn of the Serena Hotel, with no changes to the previously announced programme. All the arrangements are in place for the event to proceed as planned.
The K-Wave Festa, which is open to the public free of charge, will feature a range of activities showcasing contemporary and traditional aspects of Korean culture. Highlights include K-Pop dance and vocal performances, a K-Beauty masterclass, Taekwondo demonstrations and curated experiences centred on Korean food and crafts. Residents were encouraged to attend and participate in the festivities, which aim to strengthen cultural ties and promote people-to-people exchanges between Pakistan and South Korea.
