DIR: Two children drowned in the River Dir near the Parao area on Friday afternoon.
Police officials said the two children had gone to the riverbank to pick unripe apricots from a tree when they accidentally slipped and fell into the river.
The rescue teams launched a search soon after the incident and recovered both bodies. The rescue officials said one body was recovered shortly after the incident.
