LAHORE: The Punjab government has issued a notification regarding the promotion of several PMS (ex-PCS/PSS) officers in the Services & General Administration Department.
According to the notification, Shoaib Iqbal Syed (BS-20), serving as Secretary, Special Education Department, has been promoted to BS-21 on a regular basis and will continue at his current post. The position of Secretary, Special Education Department has been upgraded from BS-20 to BS-21 as a personal post for him.
Khalid Yamin (BS-19), Commissioner, Punjab Revenue Authority, has been promoted to BS-20. He has been posted as Director General, Gujranwala Development Authority, to actualise his promotion, after which he will serve as Commissioner, Punjab Revenue Authority, on deputation.
Muhammad Asif (BS-19), Director General, Faisalabad Development Authority, has been promoted to BS-20 and will continue at his current post.
Rehana Farhat (BS-19), Consultant in the office of Ombudsperson Punjab, has been promoted to BS-20 and posted as Director General, PILAC. After actualisation, she will be posted as Director General, Bureau of Statistics, Punjab.
Amjad Bashir (BS-19), Member, Punjab Revenue Authority, has been promoted to BS-20 and will continue at his present posting.
Aftab Ahmad (BS-19), currently at the disposal of Punjab Revenue Authority, has been promoted to BS-20 and posted as Director General, Bahawalpur Development Authority to actualise his promotion. Afterwards, he will serve as Commissioner, Punjab Revenue Authority, on deputation.
Hamid Mahmood Malhi (BS-19), Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Lahore, has been promoted to BS-20 and posted as Member (Judicial), Board of Revenue, Punjab.
Shahid Farid (BS-19), Managing Director, Punjab Education Foundation, has been promoted to BS-20 and will continue at his current post.
Ms Shafaq Saleem (BS-19), Chief of Section, Planning & Development Board, Punjab, has been promoted to BS-20 and posted as Member, Planning & Development Board.
The notification was issued by order of the government of Punjab.
