MINGORA: A patient undergoing treatment at a drug rehabilitation centre in Saidu Sharif, Swat, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
The incident sparked chaos at the facility, leading to the escape of several patients, while police took the body into custody and launched an investigation.
According to sources, the deceased belonged to the Bahrain area of Swat and was admitted to the rehabilitation centre run under the Social Welfare Department. Reports indicated that only one security guard was present at the time of the incident.
