LAHORE: Township police have arrested four men accused of tampering with traffic signals and disrupting traffic flow in order to solicit money from motorists.

The suspects would deliberately switch off traffic signals at Muhammad Ali Chowk in Township, causing congestion. Taking advantage of halted traffic, they approached commuters under the guise of selling flowers and allegedly begged for money.

The arrested suspects were identified as Ali Raza, Gul, Dilawar and Hamza. Police have registered a case against the accused.
