Shaykani Bazaar, located in District Kech near Chasar Cross, Turbat, is facing a serious and alarming rise in addiction among the young people. A growing number of young boys and teenagers are becoming victims of harmful substances such as alcohol and sheesha. At this important stage of life, they should be supporting their families and focusing on their education but, instead, many are being trapped in destructive habits. This worsening situation may be linked to poverty, financial hardship and the lack of proper parental guidance and attention. As a result, the future of our young generation is being deeply damaged and ruined. Even some middle-aged individuals are falling into addiction due to stress, pressure and life difficulties.
Due to this growing menace, many youngsters are making serious wrong decisions in life. Some are even involved in stealing and other unlawful activities just to support their addiction, which further destroys their future and social values. The authorities must take immediate, strict and effective action to eliminate this issue and safeguard the future of Turbat’s young people.
