LAHORE: The 54th National Athletic Championship, organised under the auspices of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, will commence on May 14 in Karachi.
Announcing the event, Brig. (Rtd) Wajahat Hussain, President of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, confirmed that the championship will feature men and women athletes from 15 teams across the country. The participating contingents include Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Railway, Pakistan Police, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The four-day competition will run until May 17, showcasing top-tier national talent and providing a platform for athletes to demonstrate their skills in front of selectors, officials, and fans.
