Wohaib Club shine with two golds in Lahore District Weightlifting

LAHORE: The Lahore District Men’s and Women’s Weightlifting Championship commenced at the ART Club, Ali Park, Fort Road, under the supervision of the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation.

On the opening day, Wohaib Club Chuburji dominated the contests by clinching two gold medals. In the 60kg category, Sameer Khan lifted a total of 212kg to secure gold, while Aziz Sarwar (Hajvery Club) and Lal Ali (ART Club) claimed silver and bronze, respectively. In the 65kg category, Taimoor (Wohaib Club Chuburji) won gold with a total of 225kg, followed by Noman (ART Club) with silver and Fardeen (ART Club) with bronze.
