NOWSHERA: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a milkman near his home while returning from his shop in Nowshera Cantt on Wednesday.
According to a police report, Afaq, a resident of Pir Sabaq, currently living on Bypass Road, Nowshera Cantt, reported that he was at home when he heard gunfire. Upon stepping outside, he found his father, Turab Khan, lying in a pool of blood near their residence.
It was revealed that the victim was returning home on his motorcycle from his shop when unidentified assailants opened fire on him near his house, hitting him multiple times. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The police said the accused escaped after committing the crime.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the Qazi Medical Complex, Nowshera. Police registered a case against unknown accused on the complaint of the victim’s son and launched an investigation.
