LAHORE:A mega operation against illegal housing schemes and illegal commercialisation and properties was carried out by LDA here on Tuesday.
In this regard, Director Metropolitan Zone 4 conducted an operation against illegal housing schemes and demolished the offices, boundary walls, gates, roads and other structures of 10 illegal schemes. Several notices were issued to these illegal schemes before the operation.
Meanwhile, LDA Town Planning Wing conducted operations in various schemes and LDA controlled areas and sealed 129 properties. LDA teams conducted operations in Defense Road, Lahore Avenue, Gulshan Ravi, Samanabad, Ataturk Block New Garden Town, Gulshan Ravi, Canal Road and Samanabad. The teams sealed 80 properties on Defense Road and 20 properties in Lahore Avenue for illegal commercial use.
