Bilawal orders province-wide rollout of pink e-scooter scheme

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a series of high-level meetings at the Bilawal House on Tuesday, directing the expansion of a women-focused mobility initiative across Sindh while reviewing pressing public issues from various districts.

In a meeting with Senior Sindh Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon, the PPP chairman was briefed on the successful distribution campaign of pink electric scooters in Karachi aimed at empowering women through improved mobility.

Expressing satisfaction over the initiative, Bilawal directed that the distribution of pink electric scooters be expanded in phases to women across the province. Separately, Member of the National Assembly Agha Syed Rafiullah called on the PPP chairman at the Bilawal House, accompanied by Agha Syed Shah Pasand Agha. During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the civic issues faced by residents of Malir, along with measures being undertaken to address them.

In another meeting, Member of the Sindh Assembly Ali Nawaz Khan Mehar, also known as Raja Khan Mehar, met Bilawal and apprised him of ongoing efforts to resolve public issues in Ghotki. The meetings form part of the PPP leadership’s continued engagement with elected representatives to monitor development initiatives and address public grievances across Sindh.
