PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah on Tuesday reviewed initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services across the province.
The meeting was informed that the recruitment process for approximately 2,500 medical personnel on a contract basis is currently underway to address shortages of medical officers, nurses, and dental surgeons.
It was shared that the recruitment includes 1,425 doctors, 250 dental surgeons, and 764 nurses. Multiple interview panels have been constituted at the divisional level to expedite the recruitment process locally.
