Islamabad:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police successfully recovered an abducted minor girl from Karachi and arrested the accused in a swift operation carried out by Bani Gala Police.
An official told APP on Sunday that the case was registered at Bani Gala Police Station under FIR No. 40/26 dated January 17, under section 365-B of the Pakistan Penal Code after the victim s abduction from the NIH area. He said the accused, Muhammad Hussain son of Sardar Adil, had allegedly abducted the minor girl on January 16 and shifted her to Karachi.
The official said Station House Officer Bani Gala Inspector Asif Khan personally supervised the investigation and constituted a special team, including Sub-Inspector Chaudhry Ashfaq (SSOIU) and Constable Abdul Baseer.
He said the police team utilized modern investigative techniques, including mobile data analysis, location tracing, and human intelligence to trace the accused. The official said the team successfully located the accused in Karachi (Sindh) and conducted a raid, arresting Muhammad Hussain and safely recovering the abducted girl. He said further investigation was underway to collect solid evidence and identify any possible accomplices involved in the crime.
