The arrival of sacrificial animals at the “Awam Dost Mandi” on Karachi’s Northern Bypass has intensified, with large convoys of traders arriving from across the country.
As Eid-ul-Adha approaches, the market is already witnessing significant activity and interest from citizens.
According to Administrator Tariq Tanoli, hundreds of animals are arriving daily. A major contingent of traders from Jacobabad has reached the market with healthy, high-quality livestock. Notable traders include Khan Muhammad Jakhrani (32 animals), Abdul Hamid (35 animals), Qalandar Bux (44 animals), and Fida Hussain, who arrived with a large herd of 80 animals.
Traders expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided by the administration, noting that proper space and support have been allocated. Administrator Tariq Tanoli stated that a record-breaking number of animals is expected this year.
The management emphasized that stringent security and modern amenities are in place for both buyers and sellers. Furthermore, citizens are strictly advised to avoid making payments to traders outside the market premises and instead utilize the on-site banking facilities for secure transactions.
