LAHORE : Chief Minister Punjab National Marathon and Cycling Race will be organised in on April 19 (Sunday) at Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
Punjab Sports Department is also going to organize CM Punjab Swimming Championship in the coming days. DG Sports Punjab Tariq Qureshi shared this information while talking to media on the sidelines of 2-day cricket trials which are being held for the selection of Grade-II cricket team at the SBP Cricket Academy outside Punjab Stadium on Saturday.
Qureshi said that since CM Punjab has declared 2026 as ‘Year of Youth’ so we are organising sports and youth affairs activities across the province with maximum participation of youth.
“There will be various seminars, and training workshops at e-libraries to engage and train the talented youth of the province”.
He said that a massive sports calendar has been formulated according to which Punjab Sports Departmentis going to organize mega sports events at tehsil, district and divisional level.
