Rawalpindi : Police have arrested 24 individuals for violating the Sound System and Fireworks Act at a wedding ceremony and seized equipment, fireworks material and five vehicles from their possession during crackdown here on Saturday.
According to police spokesperson, the operation was carried out in the jurisdiction of Saddar Barooni police station.
Cases have been registered against the detained individuals, and they have been taken into custody.
SP (Saddar) Anum Sher appreciated the performance of police team and stated that those violating marriage laws, disturbing citizens, will not escape legal action, she added.
