LAHORE: Police have arrested a man accused of killing his father following a domestic dispute in the Hanjarwal area.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Hanjarwal police station, where the suspect, identified as M Usman, allegedly shot his father dead using a pump-action gun after a quarrel at home. Police registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s sister and launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man was critically injured after being attacked with a metal rod and a glass bottle during a dispute in the Shafiqabad area on Friday. According to police, the incident occurred near Kareem Park following a verbal altercation between Salman and Talha. The argument escalated, and the suspect allegedly attacked the victim, causing severe head injuries. The injured was shifted to Mayo Hospital in critical condition.
A 35-year old man allegedly ended his life by hanging himself in the Nishtar Colony area. The incident took place in Khaliq Nagar locality where the man reportedly hanged himself for reasons yet to be ascertained. The deceased was identified as Samuel.Upon being informed, police reached the scene and shifted the body to the morgue.
