LAHORE: Punjab Governor Saleem Haider assented the Stamp Duty Amendment Ordinance 2026 on Friday.
The ordinance has created great convenience for those buying and selling property in rural areas.
Under the Duty Amendment Ordinance 2026, the rate of stamp duty has been made uniform in urban and rural areas and fixed at one percent.
