QUETTA: Unidentified armed men abducted a primary school teacher at gunpoint in the Chattar area of Naseerabad.
According to police, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of Chattar Police Station near Dera Murad Jamali at the Government Primary School in Goth Muhammad Bakhsh Paichoha. The armed suspects kidnapped teacher Muhammad Bachal Bhatti while he was teaching in the classroom.
Students said the kidnappers dragged the teacher out of the school, forced him into a vehicle, and fled to an unknown location. Following the incident, fear and anxiety gripped the school and the surrounding area.
Meanwhile, Asif Azim Umrani, Central Auditor of the Government Teachers Association Balochistan, strongly condemned the kidnapping, calling it a matter of grave concern. He demanded the immediate recovery of the abducted teacher and the arrest of those involved.
