PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Shafiullah Jan has announced the launch of the Ehsaas Fuel Support Programme aimed at providing financial relief to motorcycle and scooter owners across the province. In a statement, he said that the provincial government initiated the Ehsaas Fuel Support Programme to ease the financial burden on motorcycle and scooter owners.
Under this programme, eligible owners would receive Rs2,000 in financial assistance, he said.He added that a transparent registration system had been introduced through the Dastak App through which deserving individuals can register and benefit from this initiative.
The Ehsaas Fuel Support Programme is an exemplary welfare measure that will serve as a lifeline for the common citizen, he added.Shafi Jan stated that providing relief to the deserving and low-income segments of society remained the top priority of the provincial government.
He added that the provincial government’s pro-people initiatives would continue uninterrupted. He said that the anti-people policies of the federal government were adversely affecting the poor.
