PESHAWAR: Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan on Sunday said that no effort would be spared to resolve the issues being faced by the people of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
An official handout said that he was talking to a delegation of elders from provincial assembly constituency PK-26 Buner.He said the KP government was committed to addressing the problems of the people.
The minister listened to the issues of the people and directed the relevant officials to resolve them at the earliest. He maintained that no delay should be tolerated in addressing public complaints, directing that all issues be resolved on a priority basis. He said the provincial government was taking steps to provide relief to ordinary citizens, improve service delivery at the grassroots and redress public grievances.
He added the government was determined to strengthen governance, enhance public outreach and eliminate civic hardships across the province, ensuring maximum facilities are delivered to the people at their doorstep.
The minister highlighted that the public day initiative was aimed at strengthening the link between elected representatives and the people, while also reinforcing public confidence in the provincial government’s performance. The minister said he would continue to stand by the people of his constituency at all times and that all available resources would be deployed to accelerate development work and improve the provision of basic facilities.
