LAHORE: Punjab has shifted all schools, colleges and universities to a four-day academic week.
According to the notifications by the School Education Department (SED) Punjab and Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab, institutions will remain closed every Friday, while classes will be held from Monday to Thursday.
Single-shift schools will operate from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Double-shift schools will run with a morning session from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and an afternoon session from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
