LAHORE:Punjab Police have finalised a comprehensive security plan for Good Friday and Easter, deploying more than 30,000 personnel across the province.
According to a spokesperson, around 13,000 personnel will be deployed for 2,270 Good Friday events, while over 17,000 will perform duties at 3,153 Easter gatherings. In Lahore, more than 5,000 officials will be assigned security duties.
The IG Punjab directed senior officers to personally supervise arrangements and ordered enhanced patrolling by Dolphin Force, PRU and Elite Force.
