Alongside the US-Israel war on Iran, another conflict is escalating in the Middle East: the Israeli attack on Lebanon. The Zionist state has conducted multiple breaches of Lebanon’s sovereignty since November 2024 but the conflict has reached an increased level of intensity which proves Tel Aviv’s aggressive and dangerous behaviour.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres recently stated that Lebanon must not be condemned to the same fate as Gaza, which shows his worry that Lebanon will experience the widespread destruction which happened in the Gaza Strip. The international community needs to take strong actions which will stop the increasing violence and bring peace to Lebanon.
