Al-Khidmat treats 1,400 during Eid

TIMERGARA: The Al-Khidmat Foundation provided medical services to more than 1,400 patients during the Eid holidays through its welfare hospital in Lower Dir, according to an official statement.

The foundation said that a total of 477 patients were treated in the outpatient department, while 26 emergency cases were handled during the three days of Eid.Laboratory services were also extensively utilised, with 1,028 diagnostic tests conducted. In addition, 259 ultrasound examinations were carried out to facilitate patients requiring imaging services.

The statement further said that 114 patients were admitted to the hospital, while 129 children were born during the Eid days, including 88 boys and 41 girls.Officials of the foundation said that uninterrupted healthcare services during Eid reflected their commitment to public welfare, adding that efforts would continue to ensure quality medical facilities for residents of the area.
