SUKKUR: Houses belonging to three journalists were allegedly looted and set on fire by armed assailants in Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki district, leaving the affected families homeless and prompting protests for justice.

According to the victims, the houses of journalists -- Jalal Buzdar, his brother Nizamuddin Buzdar, and journalist Maqbool Buzdar -- were attacked by their rival from Buzdar clan in their absence, resulting in losses worth millions of rupees.

The affected journalists staged a protest and appealed to political and social leaders, human rights organisations, and senior police officials, including the IG Sindh and DIG Sukkur, to take notice of the incident, ensure their safety, and provide justice.
