LAHORE: New entrants Pindiz have officially unveiled their jerseys for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11, presenting a design that embodies the raw energy, culture, and identity of Rawalpindi. The kit, revealed on Saturday, reflects the franchise’s philosophy of being a team “built from the gullies to the ground, for the awaam.”
The design embraces a distinctly Pakistani aesthetic—unfiltered, unapologetic, and unmistakably local—while projecting the franchise’s ambition to carry Rawalpindi’s identity onto the global stage. Franchise owner Ahsan Tahir described the jersey as a statement of confidence and creativity: “Pindiz belongs to the people. From Pindi to the planet, we want this team to represent the confidence and creativity of Pakistan. This jersey is a statement of that identity, local at heart but global in outlook.”
General Manager Harris Mir emphasized the jersey’s connection to grassroots cricket: “Pindiz was always meant to represent the people. This jersey reflects that vision, a team stitched from the streets, for the streets. It’s about the gully spirit of Rawalpindi and bringing that same authenticity onto the PSL stage.”
Design consultant Tim Fox explained the creative approach: “We wanted something honest and unmistakably Pakistani. There’s no fluff in this design, just raw identity and cultural cues that reflect where the team comes from. The goal was to create a jersey that feels rooted in Rawalpindi but ready to travel anywhere in the world.”
“With the unveiling of the Season 11 kit, Pindiz continue to build a brand that blends gully spirit with global ambition, positioning themselves as more than just a cricket franchise. The jersey symbolizes Rawalpindi’s authenticity, resilience, and pride, carried onto the PSL stage for millions to witness.
“This bold identity statement sets the tone for Pindiz’s debut campaign in PSL 11, ensuring the franchise enters the league with both cultural resonance and competitive intent.”
