KARACHI: Pakistan’s largest and most popular television network, Geo, has once again prepared an exciting and diverse lineup of special programming for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 to enhance the festive spirit for its viewers.
The Eid transmission will feature special bulletins, exclusive coverage, talk shows, morning shows, dramas, tele films, feature films, and special entertainment programs, along with blockbuster Lollywood movies. Geo TV, in particular, promises three days of non-stop entertainment.
On the first day of Eid, Geo News’ morning show “Geo Pakistan” will host prominent guests including PPP leader Sherry Rehman, Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi, Mushahid Hussain Syed, and senior journalist and analyst Hamid Mir.
In the afternoon, exclusive interviews of superstar actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan will be aired. A special documentary on the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan will also be broadcast. Special shows like “Lahore Kay Khanay, Eid Kay Bahanay” will add flavor to the celebrations, while the program “Score” will feature an exclusive interview with cricketer Usman Tariq.
Viewers will also enjoy “Aik Din Geo Kay Saath” with Qawwal Shehbaz and Faiz, along with a humorous Mushaira. The comedy show “Hansna Mana Hai” will feature actors Gohar and Kubra Khan. On the second day of Eid, “Geo Pakistan” will host Imad Butt, the national hockey captain, Sar Taal music group, Hina Parvez Butt, and Rana Sanaullah. A special kids edition of “Pakistan Idol” will also be aired.
A documentary on late actor Waheed Murad will be shown, while the hockey team will appear on “Score.” “Aik Din Geo Kay Saath” will feature an SOS Village special. Singer Shehzad Roy will appear on “Hansna Mana Hai.”
The third day of Eid will include special programming in connection with March 23, featuring special editions of “Mazahiya Mushaira,” “Score,” “Report Card,” and “Capital Talk.” At 10:05 PM, the cast of the film “Bullha” will appear on “Hansna Mana Hai.” Geo TV will also broadcast a variety of films during Eid.
On the first day, viewers can enjoy the feature film “Na Maloom Afraad 2,” along with the special show “Khana Mana Hai” and “Pakistan Idol Best Of.”
The films “Actor in Law” and the globally acclaimed blockbuster “The Legend of Maula Jatt” will also be aired as a world television premiere.
On the second day, the film “Load Wedding” will be broadcast, along with “Chhalawa” and the telefilm “Meri Uraan.” On the third day, viewers can watch “Na Maloom Afraad,” telefilms “Laal” and “Rooposh,” and the popular animated film “The Donkey King.” In addition, Geo TV will air popular drama serials including “Sara Aapi” and “Ishq Mein Tere Sadqay,” among others. It is worth mentioning that Geo Super and Geo Kahani have also prepared special Eid programming for their audiences.
