ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and head of the opposition alliance, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and senior legal expert and justice (retd) Shahid Jamil Thursday discussed current and legal situation in the country.
The deliberations were held after former justice called on Achakzai here at his residence. They discussed in detail the ways and means to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law, and the legal strategy to deal with the current “political crisis”.
According to the Tehreek Tahaffuz Aiyeen-e-Pakistan spokesman, the meeting discussed the situation arising after the Supreme Court and other court decisions and issues related to constitutional safeguards.
