Rawalpindi:The Alkhidmat Foundation (AKF) organised an Iftar dinner and Eid Mela for children of the Alkhidmat Child Protection Center.
The AKF Secretary General Syed Waqas Jaffery, Vice President Ehsanullah Waqas and people from different walks of life attended the event. Speaking on the occasion, the AKF Secretary General said that the objective of the Children Protection Centers is to educate out of schools children and promote their abilities.
He said that at present 2400 children are admitted in 76 Child Protection Centers across the country. He said that apart of academic session, various training sessions, recreational tours and Eid gifts events are also arranged for students. He said that training workshops are also organized for teachers.
