LAHORE: Punjab Sports Department is taking effective measures for the development of sports especially in the far-flung areas of the province in accordance with the vision of CM Punjab.
Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Vice Chairman Suleman Malik expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting of SBP Human Resource (HR) Committee at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
The meeting was convened to formulate a mechanism regarding the appointments of coaches and trainers in Sports Board Punjab. Addressing the meeting, Suleman Malik said the best coaches and trainers play an important role in the development of players. “There will be no compromise on the qualification and merit of the coaches. There are several best trainers and coaches, who are serving in Sports Board Punjab. The prime obligation of Punjab Sports Department is promotion of sports culture across all divisions of Punjab”.
