KARACHI: The Pakistan Super League has unveiled a new trophy for the upcoming 11th season, presenting the silverware named “Infinity” at a ceremony held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
A short video shared by the league on its official social media accounts offered fans a glimpse into the making of the trophy, showing the stages of its design and assembly. The new PSL trophy features a tall, contemporary design with a gold-coloured framework forming its structure.
The centre is decorated with crystal-style detailing that reflects light, while two sweeping golden arcs run up the sides and meet close to the top. At the summit sits a crescent and star element, while the trophy itself is placed on a gold-plated base fixed onto a black pedestal carrying the league’s branding. League officials said the piece was produced by a group of 18 craftsmen and took roughly 2,600 hours to complete. The 11th edition of the tournament is scheduled to start on March 26, with two new franchises Pindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen joining the competition.
