Rawalpindi:The District Education Authority (DEA) Attock, in collaboration with the Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF), organised a well-coordinated Ramazan Ration Distribution Ceremony at MC Boys High School, Attock, aimed at supporting deserving families during the holy month, says a press release.

Dr Muhammad Azhar, Chief Executive Officer of DEA Attock, personally distributed ration packages among the beneficiaries, underscoring the authority’s commitment to social welfare and community service. The initiative was designed to ensure that assistance reached underprivileged men and women in a respectful and dignified manner.

As part of its broader humanitarian outreach, DWAF has continued to expand its relief efforts across the country. Last year, the foundation implemented the Ramazan ration programme in 22 districts, while this year it has extended the initiative to 11 cities, maintaining its focus on vulnerable segments of society.

Executive Director of DWAF Farhat Aslam also played a key role in the successful execution of the programme, reaffirming the organisation’s dedication to supporting the deaf community and other deserving individuals.The ceremony reflected the spirit of Ramazan by promoting compassion, solidarity and meaningful support for families in need.
