LAHORE: After months of anticipation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially unveiled the logo for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) season, branding it as the start of a “new era.” The announcement was made through the league’s official social media channels.
PSL 11 will begin on March 26 with an opening ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, followed by the opening match between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and debutants Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen. The final is scheduled for May 3, with discussions ongoing about staging it overseas to engage Pakistan’s global fan base.
Most of the first leg is expected to be played in Lahore, while Peshawar Zalmi are set to play matches in Peshawar for the first time at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, marking a significant expansion of PSL’s footprint.
The league has expanded to eight teams, with the addition of Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen – who have signed Marnus Labuschagne. Pindiz – the second new entrant. And Sialkot Stallionz, rebranded as Multan Sultans, who secured Steve Smith.
Other notable signings include Moeen Ali, Devon Conway, and Aaron Hardie, adding international star power to the competition. PSL CEO Salman Naseer emphasized that PSL 11 represents a new chapter for the league: “This is a new era for PSL, with fresh branding, new teams, and expanded venues. We are working to finalize the schedule and will share updates soon.”
