LAHORE:Punjab Central Business District (Punjab CBD) has announced another landmark eco-friendly initiative with the allocation of 55.9 acres for green area at CBD NSIT City which is being developed as Pakistan’s premiere and largest IT city.
This strategic development underscores CBD Punjab’s commitment to balancing rapid urban growth with environmental sustainability. The green area will be developed in three phases. The first phase will cover 42 acres, followed by 6.5 acres in the second phase and 7.4 acres in the third phase, where extensive plantation and park development activities will be carried out. This large-scale green initiative is set to significantly enhance the natural beauty of CBD NSIT City, creating a healthier and more sustainable urban environment for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin stated that CBD Punjab is not only driving economic and urban development but is equally committed to environmental improvement. “We are working in line with the vision of CM Punjab, ensuring that PunjabCBD plays a pivotal role in the province’s development while prioritising environmental protection and urban excellence.”
