LGH remains fully operational on Eid

LAHORE:In line with the directives of CM Maryam Nawaz, the administration of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) remained fully operational throughout the Eid holidays, ensuring seamless and high-quality healthcare services for all patients.

Under the supervision of Prof Dr. Farooq Afzal, Principal of Amiruddin Medical College, the LGH monitoring team, feedback doctors and DMS Nursing maintained strict discipline and upheld the highest standards of medical care.

LGH MS Prof Dr Faryad Hussain, personally conducted comprehensive rounds of various departments, including Emergency and Pediatric wards. During his visits, Dr Faryad Hussain inquired about the well-being of admitted patients, reviewed medicine availability, cleanliness standards and overall facility conditions. He also extended warm Eid greetings to the doctors, nurses and paramedical staff on duty, commending their commitment and professionalism.

He said those who sacrifice their personal Eid celebrations to serve patients deserve the highest appreciation, adding the serving suffering humanity and bringing relief to patients in pain is not just a duty, it is the ultimate form of worship for medical professionals.

He reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to excellence, stating that in accordance with the special instructions of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, the LGH administration will continue to deliver timely, compassionate and top-tier medical services with full dedication.
