QUETTA: Unidentified armed men shot and killed three members of a family, including the husband, wife and their minor son, in the Sariab area of Quetta and fled the scene.
According to police, the incident occurred near Saddam Phatak in Sariab Mill on the outskirts of Quetta. Unknown assailants opened fire on Muhammad Yaqoob, his wife and their two-year-old son, Shayan, killing them on the spot before escaping.
The incident spread fear and panic in the area. Police and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to a hospital. After completing necessary legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the heirs. Further investigation is underway.
