Another Bano Qabil IT Centre launched

PESHAWAR: Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched another Bano Qabil IT Centre here on Monday to equip youth with modern digital skills and online employment opportunities.

The state-of-the-art Bano Qabil Centre named Syed Abul A’ala Campus was established under the Alkhidmat Bano Qabil Programme.The inauguration ceremony was held at Markaz-e-Islami, the provincial headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami.

The ribbon was cut by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Professor Dr Hafeezur Rehman and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (central) Abdul Wasi.Head of Jamaat-e-Islami KP (North) Inayatullah Khan, Provincial President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Khalid Waqas, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Peshawar Bahrullah Khan Advocate, Director Bano Qabil Programme Air Commodore (Retd) Muhammad Amin, President Alkhidmat Peshawar Iftikhar Ahmad and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hafeezur Rehman said the Alkhidmat Bano Qabil Programme was not limited to IT courses alone but represented a structured effort to steer youth towards self-reliance.

He said that Alkhidmat Foundation was providing modern skills to young people so they could not only secure dignified employment for themselves but also play a positive and effective role in strengthening the national economy.

Abdul Wasi said that in the contemporary era, knowledge and technology were the real sources of power. He added that the Bano Qabil Programme was equipping youth with this very strength.

The JI leader said that the newly inaugurated campus would offer a valuable opportunity for the youth of Peshawar to become financially independent through respectable means of livelihood.

Alkhidmat Provincial President Khalid Waqas informed the gathering that under the Bano Qabil Programme, more than 10,000 students had so far benefited from free IT training across 85 campuses in the province.

He said the initiative was aimed at preparing young people for careers in freelancing, software development and other digital fields, enabling them to build a sustainable future.Khalid Waqas expressed the resolve to further expand the programme so that a maximum number of youth could benefit from this unique initiative and contribute productively to society.
