ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek Tahaffuz Aiyeen-e-Pakistan Saturday vehemently condemned the US-Israeli aggression on Iran in the midst of Geneva negotiations, putting the entire region and the world in danger.
The opposition alliance leaders held a hurriedly called news conference to express their views on what the government of Pakistan could do in the given alarming situation.
Speaking on the occasion, TTAP Vice-Chairman Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the Senate, warned that if something happens to Iran, then it will not be good for Pakistan either, adding the entire region will break apart.
Allama Nasir contended that Pakistan should strike a ceasefire with Afghanistan and put its own house in order and initiate dialogue to forge greater unity. “The enemies of Pakistan have planned a void between the people and armed forces by getting it entangled in wars with neighbours,” he claimed.
He also talked about another humanitarian problem emerging after the attack on Iran, as civilians are being killed and a girls’ school has been attacked.
