The Consulate of Italy in Karachi hosted an Iftar-dinner to commemorate the holy month of Ramazan and promote interfaith harmony.
The Iftar was attended by diplomats of various countries, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and various dignitaries.
The Consul General of Italy in Karachi, Fabrizio Bielli, welcomed the dignitaries, including government officials, diplomats and friends of Italy in Karachi, and said that he is deeply proud to celebrate the spirit of the holy month of Ramazan --- a cherished tradition on this blessed occasion.
He said that this year, his wife and he have also decided to celebrate the true spirit of Ramazan by observing the fast in true spirit together with our Pakistani friends.
Consul General Bielli hoped that this Ramazan, which is coinciding with Nowruz, Holi, Chinese New year and Easter period, brings health, prosperity, happiness to all of mankind. He prayed these initiatives may make this world a better place with our conscious efforts and mindfulness to promote peace and tolerance.
