Director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Karachi Zone, Muntazir Mehdi, conducted surprise on Saturday and extensive visits to various field circles, according to an FIA spokesperson.
During the visits, the director carried out a detailed inspection of ongoing cases, official records and overall office operations. He received direct briefings from the officers concerned regarding progress and the challenges faced in different investigations.
The spokesperson said the director expressed satisfaction with the discipline, strategy and professionalism demonstrated by the officers. However, he also issued clear and strict directives to ensure faster and more effective results.
He emphasised the need for the timely redressal of public complaints and strict adherence to merit in all actions. The director reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to continuing indiscriminate action against corruption and other illegal activities.
Muntazir Mehdi also stressed the importance of improving performance standards and strengthening teamwork across all units to enhance overall operational efficiency.
