Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, a central leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), has strongly condemned the alleged Israeli and US attacks on Iran, terming them acts of aggression and war crimes.
In a statement issued on Saturday amid rising regional tensions, he said that any attack on Iran constitutes a blatant violation of international law and is unacceptable. He described the alleged actions as part of a broader conspiracy to push the Middle East into further conflict and instability.
Zaidi stated that such attacks are an attempt to destabilize the region and undermine its peace and security. He urged the United Nations to take immediate notice of what he described as Israeli and American war crimes and to play its role in de-escalating the situation. He warned that continued aggressive actions could drive the region toward widespread destruction.
“The growing Zionist aggression in the context of recent regional tensions has become a serious threat to global peace,” he said, adding that any form of military action against Iran would not only violate international laws but could also push the entire region toward a large-scale war.
Zaidi cautioned that if the situation is not addressed promptly, its repercussions may extend beyond the Middle East. Condemning the alleged joint actions of the United States and Israel, he asserted that Iran and other countries in the region would not compromise on their sovereignty and security.
He called on the international community, particularly the United Nations, to intervene immediately and take practical steps to reduce tensions. He also urged Muslim countries to adopt a joint strategy against what he termed increasing US and Israeli aggression in order to prevent further instability in the region.
Meanwhile, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen announced nationwide protests against what it describes as Zionist and American aggression, with demonstrations reportedly being held in various cities across the country.
