LAHORE: For the first time, the Lahore Zoo has started breeding of rare and exotic parrots. According to the administration sources, the aim of this initiative is to give the zoo a prominent place in the field of captive breeding. Officials say that during the year 2024-25, various types of parrots were purchased, including Eclectus, Cockatoo, Monk, Sun Conure and Alexandrine parrots.
