Wafi Energy profit rises 7.5pc to Rs3.54bn

KARACHI: Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited reported a profit after tax of Rs3.54 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025, up 7.5 per cent from a year earlier, marking its first full year of operations in Pakistan.

The company expanded its Shell-branded retail network by 35 sites during the year, taking the total to more than 680 outlets nationwide. It also reported growth in its lubricants business across consumer and industrial segments, alongside expansion in mining and process oils.

Chief Executive Zubair Shaikh said the company delivered solid results while continuing to invest in growth and strengthen its market position.The board has authorised management to explore potential investment and acquisition opportunities in the oil marketing sector. The company is also planning to set up a Dubai-based subsidiary to expand commercial activities and support regional growth.
