KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has appointed Muhammad Amin Rajput as managing director and chief executive officer on a three-year contract with immediate effect.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors, SSGC announced on Friday. Rajput was serving as acting managing director prior to his confirmation in the role. He has previously held the positions of chief financial officer and chief internal auditor at SSGC.
Before joining SSGC, Rajput served as chief internal auditor at K-Electric and held various finance and audit roles at Zahid Tractor in Saudi Arabia, a dealer of Volvo and Caterpillar equipment.
Rajput is a fellow chartered accountant and a certified internal auditor. He completed his chartered accountancy training at KPMG Pakistan.
