KARACHI: Gold prices remained unchanged on Friday while silver rates increased in the local market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold remained unchanged at Rs540,562 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold stood the same at Rs463,444.In the international market, gold rates closed flat at $5,178 per ounce. Local gold prices are typically adjusted with a premium of $20 over international rates.Silver prices, however, increased by Rs270 to Rs9,474 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also rose by Rs232 to Rs8,122.
